    Default Hunt's Patience

How long do you think Clark Hunt will give GM Scott Pioli to turn the Chiefs around before giving him the boot?

2-3 years to show a big step at least. I dont see a move before that.

I voted 3-4 years. I don't think Pioli will be safe any longer than that without a winning season.

I say 3-4 years, but hopefully Pioli can turn it around next year.

We normally give our GM's 20 years. If no Superbowl by then - he goes.

I was going to say the same thing.

But i really think he needs 4 years to get it turned around. By year 3 we should see improvement.

I think that by NEXT year we should see improvement. I have been willing to throw this year away becuse the Chiefs were not going to go anywere. But Next seson I think with the NFC west the Chiefs might just might sneak into playoff contention.

Don't hold your breath. Realistically, it is going to take at least 2 more seasons after this season to be real contenders. The O line has to be retooled, the defense still needs some impact players and we still don't know for sure about our RB situation(LJ's gone for sure, but we don't know if any our our young RB's will work). I think it's very unrealistic to expect a new GM and a first year head coach to drastically turn around the disaster Herm Edwards inflicted on this team. I'm pretty sure Clark Hunt is going to give Pioli at least 5-6 years if not more.
