Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league policy on performance enhancing substances. The suspension begins immediately.

The Chiefs later confirmed the suspension through a statement, saying they would have no comment.

Does this make anyone else wonder if we'll try and trade Bowe off for some picks in the draft? I like him and think we should keep him but Haley has been yelling, threatening to trade him and they've gotten rid of other guys for doing stuff like this. Not to mention how many times has he dropped a ball that was right there with no one around him? Like I said I like Bowe and think we should keep him.

He took a Diuretic for weight loss purposes (think the Williams duo in Minnesota). Not necessarily a performance enhancing drug but a drug that has been known to mask steroid use thus its on the ban list.

Fault the man what you will we only know the bare bones as it is.

Sigh... Bowe resorted to taking drugs to lose weight for Haley. I'm both really disappointed and somewhat glad to see he's dedicated enough to the Chiefs to resort to taking drugs, in a weird way. Wish he would have lost the weight with diet and exercise.

Maybe he did it to lose wieght, or maybe he did it to mask steriod use. Either way it was a stupid decision.

At least it was only something to make him poo poo and lose weight- and not some kind of steroid or growth hormone.
