Thread: Haley overwhelmed

    Default Haley overwhelmed

I was one of the first on here to support the hiring of Haley and although I still support it, I have concerns.

How can a guy who was supposed to be a great offensive mind put together such pitiful game plans sunday after sunday?

I think that a Bill Cowher signing would have been a better fit, but maybe Cowher didnt want it with Pittsburgh on the schedule.

The lack of a passing rush is very sad. Ben has been sacked second most in the NFL, yet we cant even touch him?

It is painful to watch this team, and I think our defense plays pretty well considering how much time they spend on the field thanks to our pitiful offense.

I want to see improvement, but its hard to see improvement.....

He also kept his head in the game and spent less time chewing out refs, coaches and players.
I think the team relalized in the fourth quarter that they were not as tired as the other and gained confidence. The OL actually gave Cassel a little time.
I think Cassel and Haley realized they finally have Wr's that can catch the ball.
I think the coaches and the team took a huge step forward today. Will we take a step back? Being a young team, probably, lets hope it isn't too far.
I exspect betterr things from Haley now that the pressure is off, He has now won with more than 2 games with 22 men off the street. We've had that many WR's thru KC this year haven't we. Just joking!!!!
But the girly white turtleneck has gotta go. This is football. Put on a man shirt.

    Go turtleneck!

Just remember that in another month, he'll likely be in a huge parka on the sidelines.

Now what will be interesting is in December, when we have Bowe and Vrabel back, and this O-line has played a few more games together, hopefully with a bit more confidence. I'd love it if we were getting more sacks, but hey, let's let Tyson Jackson mature a year, and let Glenn Dorsey become even MORE of a beast.

Haley is doing fine- can't wait to see how this team continues to grow.

Haley seems to be improving every week, especially with playcalling. He's a rookie coach, and our record right now is actually better than what it was expected to be. He's doing well. The players seem to really be starting to buy into his philosophy also, which is most important.

Well, and we have gotten rid of what was a huge cancer in the locker room. Love him or hate him, LJ was just not performing, and was an enormous off-the-field distraction. Now that he's gone- time for some FOOTBALL!

I am fine with what i have seen from haley. Even if the Chiefs do finsh out loseing the rest of there games we can say that there was imporvement. 3 wins is better then 2. For his first year to show improvement just shows how bad this team was when he got here. The Chiefs are showing signs of life. Who nos next year this team might resemble a football team that we can be proud of. Things are defently looking up for now. GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!
