Default KC Star : Charles makes good plays — and a bad one

SAN DIEGO | With Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs have learned they’ve got to take some bad with the good. There was plenty of good from Charles, Kansas City’s offensive star Sunday in a 43-14 loss to the San Diego Chargers. Charles rushed for 93 yards in just 14 carries and scored on a 4-yard run in the third quarter.

It's good to see another good performance from Charles (sans the fumble). 14 carries for 93 yards, 6.6 avg. And 5.2 avg ypc for the season. 5.3 last year.

And another good kickoff return (45 yards). Like I said, ever since Dante Hall left it seemed like literally every time a Chief returned a punt or kickoff he would be tackled after less than 10 yards. It's so nice to see we have a returner now who can break the big ones for us.

Chambers 7 catches for 70 yards is decent too. When Bowe comes back that will probably be a nice double threat Cassel will have to try to carve up defenses.
