Post ChiefsCrowd.com Article : Chiefs RB Charles Likely Wants to Clarify These Comments

Kansas City Star (http://media.kansascity.com/smedia/2....81.jpg)Sports talk radio was abuzz this morning with a few comments made by Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/KAN) RB Jamaal Charles (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/...Jamaal_Charles) following the Chiefs blowout loss to the Denver Broncos. From my experience with Charles, he's "all in" with the Todd Haley plan, a team-first guy and is focused on winning as a team. That's why this was so surprising from Charles yesterday: "We started out the game real good," he said. "Somebody just gotta step up, besides me, and help me out and make plays."It's the "besides me" line that had 610 Sports talking about...

That's silly. As one of the few players actually making a consistent contribution to the team, I have no problem with him saying that.

I heard him say that on the radio as we were leaving the stadium.
Part of me thought, what a ****y SOB.

But soon to realize he did have the most all purpose yards, and he was the only 1 to score..besides suckup.

I agree, Wade, Bradley, Lawerrence, Cottam, Ryan,...ect. need to make a play. Cassel included.

dont take anything Jamaal Charles says in his interviews very seriously.... he said after the loss to SD last week on metro sports that we could be in the playoff hunt if we can win another game lol.... not the brightest crayon in the box, but he can run really fast!

Jamaal's actually right- some other people besides he and Chris Chambers DO need to step up and make some plays.

With drop-itis spreading through our receiving corps, the remainder of the season is scary, but I still believe we can beat Buffalo, and should beat Cleveland.

HONDA! You were at the game and didn't tailgate with us others from Chiefs Crowd??? I'm sad, it would've been a pleasure to meet and tailgate with you & talk Chiefs. You missed some good food too!
