Default Chiefs Shelf RB Priest Holmes For The Year

The Chiefs placed Priest Holmes on the Non-Football Injury list today, ending his season. The whole Holmes saga was bizarre and this could be an appropriate, if sad, ending to his career. We believe Holmes won't get paid now, and he's not eligible to play elsewhere.

IS LJ overrated without a good O-line ???
some quick math... he is paid approximately 450,000 per game... Take off his stupid penalties, and he (as of this message, 108 yards of 3 games. This is $13,000 per yard. Money would have been better spent on a great Offensive Line, with an 12 year old grade running back behind them. What happened to LJ???

QUIT BLAMING THIS ON THE WRONG PEOPLE. You know that LJ hates priest and felt like he lost some years due to priest's success.

LJ (no i wasnt there, i just KNOW THESE THINGS) wasn't going to sign a contract if he had to worry about sharing the ball with Priest again.

truth is, LJ is not a good running back. He got "too big" for his position. He lacks mobility, cannot cut good. In other words, the only way LJ picks up yardage is if he has an extremely good offensive line giving him free yards.

so this is what it has come to. Chiefs will only win games if their passing game is on the money. Bennett is an ok runner, but LJ just simply is not a good back. He is slow and very immoble.
