Jamaal Charles has been named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 17. I was hoping for him to get the honor and looks like all the voting paid off. He was also nominated to be Ground Player of the Week in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns but Jerome Harrison was also nominated who had over 200 Rushing yards in one game at the time, so he won Ground Player of the Week instead of Jamaal. Well, now Jamaal has a lot of things to be proud of. He had a 1000 yard rushing season with only having started 10 of the total 16 games, He now holds the record for most rushing yards in 1 game in Chiefs History and of course, is now the Ground Player of the Week.
