It's pretty simple. In the coming uncapped year, teams that reach Final 8 cannot sign free agents unless they lose one.

Yeah, but an uncapped year means all these teams will have unlimited resources to sign all their good free agents. Unless a player REALLY doesn't want to return to his team, there won't be any IMPACT players to be had on the free agent market.
We should actually be hoping for an agreement between the two sides. If that were to occur, then the Chiefs WOULD have a distinct advantage compared to 95% of the league because they will have more cap space available to them than all but one or two other teams. Plus, the free agent market would be MUCH deeper than if there were an uncapped year.
Honestly, I get somewhat confused related to caps, free agency, all that. When I think about caps & free agency, I tend to find myself reflecting upon the 'good ol days'...when it was just simply playing football, not as much about money...teams stayed together, players spent most of their careers with one team.
Oh yeah, and there weren't so many damn confusing rules, and refs didn't make as many bad calls! When the NFL didn't stand for 'No Fun League'!!

I think no cap would really hurt the chiefs as they don't have the money the other afc west teams do, giving us a huge disadvantage in devision.
I dont think it will matter one way or anther. Pioli is not one to bring in big name talent for the most part. So I dont think it will have a big affect on the Chiefs one way or anther.
It also kills us down the road as well though. An Uncapped league means that when a player you drafted become a free agent, if he is good, then you will have to bid against every other team to get him. There is no matching of salaries and keeping the player.
Uncapped is not a good idea. We need an agreement to happen.
Are you man enough? Eric Berry? Apparently Not!
