    i know hes had one up and several downs but i believe its because that franchise is unstable. what would you think bout signing him for the back up spot? we still havent signed croyle yet would you rather have anderson or croyle

    We have Croyle signed for at least next season because we tendered him.

    I dunno, Anderson to me is just a bigger version of Brodie Croyle. Big arm, inaccurate, etc. I'm not really a fan personally. I think some team is actually going to overpay.

    I was never high on him. He had one solid year playing against weak oppants that year. I think that Brodie is a better option.

    if he's cheap it'll be a great deal.. but teams are definitely going to overpay for him though.

    I can see the Raiders, Bills, Seahawks..etc may be interested

    One advantage of him over Brodie...he has 2 good knees (I think)

    I love Derek Anderson. With the right coaching he'd be brilliant. My problem with him though, is that he doesn't really fill a team need. I hope he finds the right team for himself though.

    The biggest difference between Anderson and Brodie is the fact Anderson actually has wins as a starter. Weak opponents or not.. he has them.
