I propose the following:

Since threads do tend to take on a life of their own and much of the time stray from the beaten path; if, perhaps, the thread starter would appear at the top of every page within the thread then it would serve as a reminder as to what the original thread topic is thus aiding to bring the conversation back around to the topic at hand.

I have installed this hack on the ideas forum. You should now see the original post on every page of a thread. Please confirm that you see this and that it is what you were looking for. Once I hear back from you, I will make the change too all of the forums.

I don't. I only see the original post as post 1. If it has more than one page, I have to go back to find it. I have my posts set up to show the most recent first, though. At any rate, I'm not seeing the original post on every page.

Are you talking about here in the "Ideas" forum or in all forums luv? I have it on this forum and others as well.
