I don't know much about him, but his stats are pretty good.
But he is tendered as a 1st and 3rd rounder, which is a lot of picks to give up tbh.
That's the highest tender you can get, so they obviously don't want to let him go without a fight..

    Unlikely to happen. :)

not worth it. Hes a great player, but LB is something Pioli can (and has proven to) find later in the draft. look for us to draft at the very least one lb rounds 2-5, but i expect a couple to be honest...

First, the Texans would never trade him for that. He's their best defensive player (yes, better than Williams). Second, he's a great 4-3 LB. He would be a lousy 3-4 LB. Trade makes no sense for us.

Why would he make a lousy 3-4 ILB?

Lousy might be putting it too strong, but his talents are clearly those of a MLB in a 4-3, and the dropoff between those and a 3-4 ILB would be very significant.

Ryans has played in a 4-3 his entire career and would take time to adjust. He probably doesn't have the size or strength to be a very good outside 3-4 LB, and what makes him special (his speed and technique) would be mostly wasted in the 3-4 ILB spot. He's perfect playing in the position he plays.

Demeco Ryan is a beast, if you wanted him it would take a first, and you would hav eto beg the Texans at that.
