    Default needs vs playmakers

i agree every other chiefs fan that the draft was um different to say the least. for as many years i can remember weve drafted for what we call "needs". agreed after the year we had we have alot of needs that scares me. i 100 percent agreed with the erik berry pick boys gonna be a beast and in this passing league we needed another ball hog on d the addition of mccluster a rb/wr and i went huh? then a cb/kr arenas and this draft went like that ever pick besides the guard we picked up whos gonna replace waters in a couple years. it was clear that todd haley wanted play makers. and i love what he put together now that weve had time to look at it. yes our glaring problem can be pointed at needs , oline nt lbs te etc. bbbuuttt.... you need both a solid foundation and those playmakers. i want to see us get a nt then ill feel good bout us. we have alot of posibilities at linebacker and with crennel hell find his top guys dorsey and tyson jackson should blossom this season watch the chargers game our secondary was blown up so arenas and berry with a healthy page could be something special (a rotation of carr and arenas) offensively we got a good qb two good rbs and a improved line. that line could easily fall apart bbbuutt i think there gonna be able to show why there in the nfl positively. with bowe and chambers we need a slot mcclusters gonna be fun to watch as long as we dont force him the ball dante hall was great when he was not forced to be great im excited to see what this year brings

During the draft I was thinking WHAT ARE WE DOING. I think everyone nos that I was not 100% with Berry then the other picks went and i thought that Haley Pioli and company had lost there minds. Then I looked up some of our picks and got excited. I think that the coaching staff will help the players we had last season preform better. I think that might be why we did not go after some of the postions that most of us think there were needs. I just cant wait for the season and I think we are going to surprise alot of people. The draft was diffrent but I think it might be a good diffrent. GO CHIEFS!!!

What I really like, and its been said before, is that through the draft we improved our defense, offense and special teams. There was no way we could have filled all our needs. I would like to have seen a NT taken somewhere, but that didn't happen and obviously Pioli and company have a plan. But we are completely set in our secondary (in this pass happy league), we have some depth on the Oline and some exciting offensive playmakers and two potential probowl return guys. I loved the draft!! GO CHIEFS!!!!

We needed playmakers. This year, we added speed with them....we really needed speed.

That is very true. We did address alot of the needs on this team. D Line is the one big question still out there. I just hope that with the new improved coaching staff Dorsey and Jackson step it up and the D line is not nearly as big of a need at this time next year.

We also, at some point, have to fill needs.

Who out there in the draft could've played a significant amount of time at DT for us? Most DT's do terrible in their 1st year.

I think Pioli and Co. know what they are doing, maybe they feel that they can get someone next year and noone was worth developing and not contributing this year.

Besides Al Davis, these guys know players that can help....NOW. I'm sure you might've been confused but you can't find a starter at every position in the draft. Have faith, unless your a Raiders fan and you have no hope and you shouldn't be on this forum

I think Mike Cox can fill all the team's needs.
