Default Super Bowl in New York

Other Sports | New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey to host 2014 Super Bowl | NFL | Seattle Times Newspaper

This is a bit of an oddity, apparently money talks and if you bid enough for it, even the NFL will consider a cold weather, uncovered stadium to hold the Super Bowl.

Yeah, the NFL says New York is unique, well I believe all cities are unique in their own way.

Anyway, they are not committing to doing this again, I guess they just want to get into New York and get some money.

Are you man enough? Eric Berry? Apparently Not!

Meh, it wouldn't affect your "cold weather" teams like the Chiefs, but it could affect the half time entertainment.

Not anyone. You should have to have a nice stadium. Ralph Wilson stadium is a dump and they should not get one but I think its great that they are going with a cold weather stadium. Its unfair to always have to play in the heat for the SB. Playoffs are played in cold weather, why shouldnt the championship game?

I like it. Maybe an alternating cold/warm weather schedule for the Superbowl.
