010 CHIEFS TRAINING CAMP OPENS ON FRIDAY, JULY 30TH AT MISSOURI WESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY IN ST. JOSEPH, MISSOURI
Dear Connie Jo,
Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri officially becomes "The Summer Home of the Chiefs," as 2010 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp presented by Heartland Health commences with a practice at 1:50 PM on Friday, July 30th.
Unless otherwise noted, all outdoor training camp practices will be free of charge. MWSU will charge a $10 parking fee for premium locations at all practice sessions. Free parking options will be available for all practices and events.
Please visit www.kcchiefs.com for a complete training camp schedule, as well as additional camp information and updated practice times. The Chiefs are scheduled to conduct 24 practices during their 22-day stay in St. Joseph.
Training camp will be highlighted by Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 7th as the Chiefs will conduct an intrasquad scrimmage at 1:30 PM at Spratt Stadium. A full team autograph session will be held prior to the scrimmage as the Chiefs prepare for their preseason schedule. MWSU will charge a $10 admission fee on Family Fun Day with free admission for children three and under.
The Chiefs are scheduled to conduct a free night practice at Spratt Stadium on Wednesday, August 4th at 7:15 PM. In addition, MWSU will host a special Training Camp Sendoff Event on Wednesday, August 18th. This evening full of special activities will include Chiefs practice, beginning at 7:15 PM. MWSU's admission fee for the Training Camp Send off Event on August 18th will be determined at a later date.
