Not for long. The Chiefs and Berry just jacked up the going rate for a top-tier NFL safety. Some established vet is going to want to have their contract re-worked after they find out that an unproven rookie is making more than them.

I really hope Berry brings something special to the team.

yes, the rookie contracts strike again! I love Berry he's a Chief. But these rookie contracts......... I'll stop beating the dead horse.
