Default 2010 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp Thread

I thought I would start a thread where we could post most things related to training camp here. I figured I would give you guys some links to check personal updates from players, and from some sports analysts that you can check daily (like I do). Some of you may already use these sites but this is for those of you that don't or would just like a clickable link.

Kansas City Chiefs CBS page with very frequent updates. Kansas City Chiefs | NFL at CBSSports.com

Arrowhead Addict | A Kansas City Chiefs blog

Arrowhead Pride - Kansas City Chiefs

    Players:

    Brandon Flowers: http://twitter.com/BFlowers24

    Derrick Johnson: http://twitter.com/superdj56

    Andy Studebaker: http://twitter.com/studie32

    Brandon Carr: http://twitter.com/BCarr39

    Maurice Leggett: http://twitter.com/almighty31

    Glenn Dorsey: http://twitter.com/glenndorsey72

    Eric Berry: http://twitter.com/berry1429

    Javier Arenas: http://twitter.com/JavierArenas30

    Shaun Smith: http://twitter.com/sjs91

Then of course we have Josh Looney and other Chiefs related twitter pages.

    http://twitter.com/ChiefsPR

    http://twitter.com/KC_Chiefs1

    http://twitter.com/theprogramkc

    http://twitter.com/SportsRadio810

    http://twitter.com/mitchholthus

Some of the players don't update everyday but when they do, I like it. If y'all know of any other sites that are updated frequently please add them.

I totally agree. I'm not a fan of the wildcat either. Even though Haley down played it, don't be surprised if a couple of wildcat plays shows up during the season.

Dexter = This year's Percy Harvin?

I can see it. I went nuts when the Vikings picked Harvin. This year I did the same thing with McCluster.

My German Chiefs buddy is here with his wife & boys from Germany visiting, and they attended training camp Monday morning. He was here late this afternoon & evening visiting me, and said the same thing about Dexter as everyone else, that's he's totally awesome & quick! He was more impressed with Dexter than any other Chief during practice, and that's saying alot for him!

Edit...forgot to add...REP! for Stricken given on this thread! :)

During his press conference this afternoon Haley commented on us practicing the Wildcat. He said that practicing it is really for the benefit of the defense as many teams they are going to face are running some form of it from time to time. But he dismissed us follwing suit by saying it was his and Weis' philosophy that "you let the runners run, the catchers catch and the throwers throw".

I could see Weis and Haley quietly rolling their eyes at the Wildcat and dismiss it as a gimmick they are too good for.
That's all fine and dandy, but everyone knows Miami is running the ball, and no one can do a damn thing about it.
