Rookie TE Tony Moeaki(notes) continues to make plays. Moeaki escapes jams well, gets downfield quickly, has a knack for finding seams in coverage and has shown good hands.

I'm really excited about this guy. I just hope he can stay healthy for once.
If he stays healthy, he could be a top TE.
good news. there seams to be alot of that this year at camp
I really hope that he comes through and is able to stay on the field there are many reasons to be looking forward to this season he is one of them. First preseason game is one week away cant wait.
I'm pretty certain he will excel this year as a receiver. I'm hopeful that he will live up to his reputation as a great blocker as well.
I've also rad he is a pretty good blocker as well. Usually tight ends don't do much except block in Haley's system but he may be an exception and a possible secret weapon.
pope has had some good practice time too making some big plays
I truly hope this kid could be a great receiving TE or secrete weapon, BUT.... I think this position is often over hyped because of Tony G. I am not saying he won't be a great weapon, but there always seems to be that next great weapon making great receptions in camp. Mikael Ricks, Billy Baber, Brad Cottom etc...
I have high expectations but I have to see him against starting talent before I can drink that punch.
I just read in the star that Moeaki was injured in Saturdays practice. They are saying that he possibly has an ankle sprain, but continued to play on it hurt.
