What's the biggest, most painful loss that the Cheifs endured?

Feel the rush...
Well, that was the 3rd time in his life he came to live with me. Once when he was 15/16...I had only been married a yr or two. Then again in his early 20's, prior to his moving to Phoenix. He and I were always close growing up, our personalities similiar in many ways. He struggled in his teens & early 20's, took some bad paths. God prevailed with guiding him, and he put his life on the right path in time. He was one of the good guys. :)
