    Default Page signed his tender

NFL.com news: Chiefs' Page ends holdout, signs restricted free agent tender

So looks like page is either ready to play or ready to force the chiefs hand to either take up a roster spot or trade him.

I doubt we'd waste a roster spot on him since he has had zero pre season and zero practice

If he wants to play let him play. If he wants to leave, trade him.

Definitely the first step to a trade happening.

chiefs got a roster exemption, so page doesnt count as part of the 53 for the first 2 weeks of the season

I don't think that Pioli and Haley can talk about the "right 53" and allow him on the team. So he gets traded. But, here is the important lesson: Page tried to strong arm our current regime, and was basically told to piss off. Haley and Pioli win because they have set the ground rules...you are either for us, or against us, and the guys that are FOR us are "out there on the field...getting better every day" Page gets traded, but at what cost to us? Nothing. And to him? Everything. He is now light years behind the team he will be on, and his entire season will be spent playing catch up to the rest of the team. Not only that, when he joins another team, he comes in as an outsider that has not just endured training camp like his teammates, but as a spoiled "I'm too good to be less of a millionare" brat. And in that locker room, those guys that have fought for a roster spot in the summer heat, who just want to make the practice squad, do you think he earns any respect? NO. "Um who are you again? And why are you forcing my best friend off this team? And why couldn't you figure it out with your own team?"

Again, the biggest winner is Pioli and Haley. Team first. Team first. Team first.

according to AP we requested and received a 2 game roster exemption for him...

That said, hopefully he will be traded for whatever we can get for him. We dont need his garbage attitude here if hes only going to be taking snaps away from Kendrick Lewis
