Default What Team could the NFL do without?

In your opinion, what team could the NFL do without if they had to eliminate one team?

I never did understand the need for 3 teams in the state of Florida. Why not give them to a state that has none and let everyone enjoy the NFL experience?

The Jaguars are the easy choice. There the least popular franchise in the NFL, even when they're doing well and are in playoff contention, their fans still don't show up to their games. Plus like someone said, does Florida really need 3 NFL teams? Why not move the franchise to a state that doesn't have any?

    Bills. Jags.
The Bills have a passionate fan base when they're winning, they've just had no success for over a decade. The Jags could be in the championship round of the playoffs and they wouldn't sell it out.

Hell, Tampa was blacked out at home against the Saints. That's sad.

The obvious teams that come to mind are the panthers and jags (take them both back out of the NFL). Id say the Bills as well but the bills have had success in the past and have a longer history than the newer expansions.

Id also personally not miss them if either the Bucs or the Rams were vanquished, but certainly not before the jags.

As tempting as it is to say someone within our division, our heated hatred for each other is what keeps their teams relevant.

Never understood that either and why states like Oklahoma and Nebraska that are big college football states but have no NFL teams. I bet pro football would be huge in Oklahoma City.

Jags have been respectable over the last 10 years and people still don't go to their games. I went to a Lions game last week against the Jets and it was "technically" sold out. Lions fans haven't had a winner in years and they still go to the games. If the city can't get behind a winning team, then they probably aren't a big enough market to deserve it.

That being said, player salaries have driven tickets prices to astronomical levels. For me to bring my wife and 2 kids to a game with food, parking, souvenirs, etc it is going to cost over $100/person even if we are sitting in the nosebleed seats. I think this is the biggest issue in terms of attendence. For the same price, that person could buy a 42" inch Plasma HDTV at Best Buy this weekend and watch every game this season from their couch on a nice TV. Which do you think it a better value?

Back to the topic, the Jags.
