There are multiple sports movies released at the theaters almost every year so the selection of great sports movies is numerous. Sports related television shows are not as prevalent so the good television shows based on sports are few and far between. Normally now is when I would say these are the ten best sports television shows, but really there are only eight worth mentioning. 8. Playmakers Playmakers was a television show based on a fictional professional football team and is the best original programming that ESPN has created.
