Default Jets Assistant Coach caught tripping

must be a slow day at fox news. this was on they're front page

New York Jets assistant Sal Alosi apologized after blatantly tripping Miami's Nolan Carroll on the sideline during Gang Green's 10-6 loss to the Dolphins Sunday.

The strength and conditioning coach was ushered out of New Meadowlands Stadium by a staff member, ignoring interview requests by the Post and protected by two security members at an exit.

After the Jets confirmed he was the guilty tripper and the NFL announced it was reviewing the play, Alosi apologized.

Was it a blatant effort to trip up a player? I can not tell from the vids. With the speed of the game, do you think he though, I am going to bend my knee and trip that player?

yes!, but i do like the idea of setting up a sideline wall against the gunners but not tripping. i would have my ST guys try to knock the gunners into my sidelinewall

If I was the gunner and you tried that I would try and take heads off on the sidelines. Since doing that would result in someone getting injured, I would make damn sure its the guys on the sidelines!!

Well, apparently the Jets felt strongly enough that he did it on person, enough so to essentially fire the guy
