I hope they indeed do have a sense of urgency and reach an agreement that keeps in mind, the folks that indeed do, butter their bread! The fans of the NFL.

As a potential lockout looms, Vrabel believes fans can relate more to players than to owners.
“We don’t have 32 players who have private jets in the NFL,” he said.
Maybe, maybe not. Owning a private jet is quite a luxury, but the owners also put a lot on the line. With great risk, comes great reward. That is why the players get millions per year on their contracts.

Also the players dont buy the unsold tickets from the stadium just so the game isnt blacked out. Thats what Clark Hunt did last weekend.

The real sense of urgency will come closer to the time the season begins. The players will be missing there pay checks and the owners will be worried about not getting all the money from all the people who goes to the games. I think there will be a lockout in March but It will be worked out before it comes time to start the season.
