There may have been too much looking ahead by the Kansas City Chiefs as they closed out the regular season with a 31-10 spanking by the Oakland Raiders.
They game was only about seeding for the Chiefs and by losing and the Indianapolis Colts winning, the Chiefs dropped from the third seed in the AFC bracket for the playoffs to No. 4. That will bring the Baltimore Ravens to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, January 9 for a game in the wildcard round of the 2010 playoffs.
It's the first post-season home game for the Chiefs since 2003 and they've not won a home game in the playoffs since the 1993 tournament when they beat Pittsburgh.

All week the players and coaches said beating Oakland was important.
