D'Angelo Hall and Petrino aren't getting along the rumor mill states. Hall might be on his way out in Atlanta. We sure could use a quality CB like him in our D. It would be nice to have another shut-down corner in the AFC West that isn't playing for the Donks.
Would we attempt to get him if he available?
Official thread killer I have heard.
That would be a huge pick-up for the Chiefs.

The 49ers own my heart, but the Chiefs will always hold a better than neutral spot for giving my favorite player a place to leave with grace...

That would be a great pickup .. but .. he will prolly end up in Dallas or Oakland. But never no.
Go Chiefs
Good pickup, but what our desicion makers will look at is we already have Surtain and Law and say we dont need another corner. Theyre good but old.
Welcome to Arrowhead
I'm not sure if there is something more to the low-character implications, than last weekend, or not.
Having said that, I feel that his actions last weekend were certainly justifiable. Not excusing what he cost the team, just saying that if one looks at what happened, it sure seems like he was being attacked by the officiating.
Fisrt, he was flagged for unneccessary roughness, because he jammed a reciever at the line. He didn't hit him in the face, nor anything else that is illegal. It was a phantom call. It was a bad call.
Then, on the very next play, he and Steve Smith were "jawing" back and fourth. Nothing physical, just some trash-talk, by both players. The officials threw a flag against Hall. Just Hall. Two players, doing the exact same thing, which isn't illegal, and the ref decided to penalize Hall again.
I believe that the official took something that Hall did earlier, personally, then got his revengeon Hall.
After that, sure, Hall got carried away. In all of my days watching any sports, I have never seen officials make such obviously biased calls against one, inparticular, player, on successive plays.
That is why I am somewhat sympathetic to Halls situation. He was attacked by an official, on two consecutive plays.
Well, Tim Duncan was getting cheated by an officail a while back.
