    Default D. Hall might leave?

D'Angelo Hall and Petrino aren't getting along the rumor mill states. Hall might be on his way out in Atlanta. We sure could use a quality CB like him in our D. It would be nice to have another shut-down corner in the AFC West that isn't playing for the Donks.

Would we attempt to get him if he available?

The league acutally dropped that call against Tony, but it doesn't matter now. The NFL said it was a bogus call.

Yeah? Which one? It happens often. They would only admitted a mistake, when it didn't have a negative effect on the outcome of the game, for the team on who the mistake was made.

I saw it on chiefs.com about Herms penalty list article. I agree there is more than one penalty but atleast the one against Tony G for pass inter was recognized as a bogus call.

I was thinking the low character thing, but don't think I printed it, but I can easily see how some uninformed fans and commentators see what the media shows about the Chiefs and since all that is shown is the bad, LJ cant run Croyle throws too many ints, Huard isn't allowed to throw ... etc and thinks the Chiefs are the worst team in the league. I'm not a Pats fan at all. In fact I quite dislike them, but there hasn't been any bad press so from my viewings it would seem that they are doing everything right. I am sure if I watched them I would see that I was wrong. They are making mistakes just like everyone else. I have also been watching some games where there is a fantasy free agent, from watching the game I felt he would be a good pickup even though on the different reviews you would think he was riding the bench. So allll that being said. When you follow one team often and don't follow others you are more likely to be able to find the good and comment about it on the team you watch. Until I came into the chat room last week and got to hear some of the good about what the team was doing , I thought that we were going to get a sure 1st choice overall draft pick. I found out by just listening in the chat room and then reading and posting good discussions in this board, that it isnt time that we plan on being on the clock first, and there is still a shot at the playoffs, even a good chance if you ask me. In summary a persons perception is also that persons reality.

Having said that, I feel that his actions last weekend were certainly justifiable. Not excusing what he cost the team, just saying that if one looks at what happened, it sure seems like he was being attacked by the officiating.

Fisrt, he was flagged for unneccessary roughness, because he jammed a reciever at the line. He didn't hit him in the face, nor anything else that is illegal. It was a phantom call. It was a bad call.

Then, on the very next play, he and Steve Smith were "jawing" back and fourth. Nothing physical, just some trash-talk, by both players. The officials threw a flag against Hall. Just Hall. Two players, doing the exact same thing, which isn't illegal, and the ref decided to penalize Hall again.

I believe that the official took something that Hall did earlier, personally, then got his revengeon Hall.

After that, sure, Hall got carried away. In all of my days watching any sports, I have never seen officials make such obviously biased calls against one, inparticular, player, on successive plays.

That is why I am somewhat sympathetic to Halls situation. He was attacked by an official, on two consecutive plays.
