I picked Carimi, but basically I am just all about the OT position.

Not counting on it. But that would be my choice.

And I didn't want to delete a thread, nor a post, so I just merged your two threads here.

The more I look at it the more I think the Chiefs will go w/ the NT in Phil Taylor. Currently, Anthony Toribio is the only NT on the roster, and he was a practice squad guy for most of the year.

"Carimi will play in the NFL for some team and start at right tackle. He is by no means a left tackle and I will be shocked if he is drafted in the first round next year. Carimi has size and he is a powerful run blocker, but lacks the athleticism, technique and consistency for him to be even discussed as a first-round talent. I think he is a second- or third-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and I currently have a third-round grade on Carimi."

That's from WalterFootball.com which suprizes me a bit. I'm all for getting him and if we can get him in the 2nd or 3rd then heck yeah! While I believe we need to get an O-line guy in the first couple rounds if we can get a starting RT in the 2nd round and get Phil Taylor in the 1st then I'll be as happy as a clam!

I am a little surprised to see so many people vote Carimi over Sherrod, but they definitely have different skill sets. I would be happy with Taylor, Ayers, or any of the OTs. I like Ayers over Houston because from what I have read, it seems like Ayers has a little more experience playing the OLB position and dropping into coverage. Either one, though, will probably be a beast under Romeo Crennel.

There are a lot of pretty good people that will be available. Almost so many that we could probably trade down 5-10 picks and still have a few of these names on the board. The only problem is that there probably wont be any superstars another team wants badly enough to trade up for, unless someone drops on draft day.
