    Default Former Royals lefty, broadcaster Splittorff dies

    not football news but im sure many of us remember him. RIP



    Former Royals pitching great and broadcaster Paul Splittorff passed away on Wednesday at the age of 64 due to complications from melanoma at his home in Blue Springs, Mo.

    Too much time out in the sun without any protection that is what my dad died of. That is my age oh no. My dad was a wielder all his life and Paul was out in the sun entertaining us. Many fond memories of him RIP.
