    The Springfield News-Leader reports more than 2,000 fans of the Kansas City Chiefs showed up to witness their sports heroes lending a helping hand. Four bus loads of staff from the Chiefs drove down U.S. 71 to help clean up parts of the city devastated by a tornado May 22.

    The Chiefs are also selling the Chiefs Joplin 2011 t-shirt they wore while helping in Joplin. It's available in their online pro shop and all proceeds are donated to help Joplin victims. :)
