Default It really pisses me off

We lose a game (admittedly in a big way) and now all the fu*kin haters are back. Im so tired of all the people who call themselves fans but just come here to badmouth the team. Some "Cant wait til Week 8" to come back and bring up threads about how we suck. If you want to give up, by all means go ahead and give up, but why come back here just to talk sh!t? fans like that we dont need.

This happens with almost every team that has a bad game. The Falcons went 13-3 last year and after losing to the Bears, Sunday, all their fans are saying that their coaching and front office sucks.

The "pessimists" say they are just being realistic and facing facts. I understand their frustration and some people just need to vent.

The "optimists" point to the team's strength and recent successes and say you are not a real fan if you don't support the team no matter what. Everybody overreacts.

If the Chiefs win next weak, the "pessimists will be saying, "Yeah, but" and the "optimists" will be saying, "See? I told you ..." It's just the nature of a public forum where all personality types are free to post and express their opinions.

I still have faith in this team, though I have lowered my expectations somewhat. They will get better.

I just hope they do it soon...

    Default Chicago Bears Nfl Jerseys

Spencer stepped up when Bears called on
Lance Louis exited Sunday’s opener against the Falcons in the second quarter with an hard ankle injury, the Bears Changed to backup Chris Spencer and didn’t miss a beat.
Roberto Garza Said: “Spencer did a great job with limited reps at guard, but that’s what you get when you have an old player guy that’s been around and knows how to play football and who play well“
Spencer signed a contract with the Chicago Bears as a free player this summer after starting 70 games the previous five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks-four at right guard and opening 66 contests at ?center .
Chicago Bears Coach Lovie Smith said on Monday that when Louis have hurt the Bears considered inserting Spencer at center and moving Garza from center to guard-the position he’s played most during his 11-year in NFL career-but ultimately decided against it.
Lovie Smith said. “We were really gladed with what [Spencer] could do,Chris jumped right in and did a quite good job for a guy that hasn’t gotten someof reps. If Lance can’t go this week, we’ll have decisions to make. But it gives us a lot of flexibility when two of our players have played both positions.“

i knew we were not a true 10-6 team last year. the easy sched and lack of injuries got us a great season and division championship. the buffalo game may have turned out different if we don't fumble the opening ko and give them a quick six. i said before preseason that an 8 win season would have been a good year for this team w/this sched. lets see how we play against det., if we win all is forgiven, if we lose but play well there is still hope, if we get drubbed then the ship is taking on water and we better hope the bilge pumps can keep it afloat.

We won 10 games last year, that makes us 10-6. Easy schedule or not, that makes us the AFC West Champs. That is something we could not do with a 4-12 team. Nope-no improvement-it's all a trick by Pioli and Haley.

Do you think New york would put up with going 18 years without winning a playoff game? Do you think dallas would put up with that? Boston? No and we should not either. It's the lack of effort that really annoys me, not so much the bad drafts that pioli has done. I can live with bad decisions but the doing absolutely nothing and actually trying to sign impact players is unheard of here. We go out and get players like sabby piscetelli? Why not the good nose tackle from the niners Aubrayo franklin? Why must we continually lie to ourselves and tell ourselves its a "rebuilding" year when in reality we are not going anywhere. I dont mean to rain on anyone's parade, I was happy when pioli came over. I thought he was going to have a bunhc of brilliant drafts and get this to be a competitive team. but clearly, CLEARLY after three years (his third this year) its time for him to go. You cant have crap drafts and not sign impact FA and expect to be successful. But sadly, everyone here has their heads in the sand
    Start rant

There is so much wrong with your post that it's not even funny. First Crap drafts? Piolis first draft class in KC has not even had 3 full seasons to date. It takes time for Players to learn the NFL game and to develop into NFL players. Think back to the first year after the Chiefs traded Jarad Allen away. There was alot of fans down on Hali. What happened when he got time to learn the NFL game and develop he went out and LEAD in sacks. 14 sacks nothing to be ashamed of. Give the draft classes time and they can do the same thing. By the logic of useing one game to declare a draft class horrible like you are doing with this years they Peyton Manning would have been cut by the colts. How do you think that would of worked out?

You bring up signing big names like Aubrayo franklin. First I do recall we were talking with him we were TRYING to bring him in. We were not just sitting on our hands twittling our thumbs. It's much easier to say go sign this guy or go sign that guy. Every other team is proabley saying the same thing. Sometimes you can do all you can do but a guy just likes this team or that team better and thinks it's a better fit for him. Thats just how it is. But that does not mean that they are not trying to bring in guys that can help the team. And just because a guy is not a big name does not mean that he can't help a team. Steve Breaston can still help this team. Kelly Gregg can still help this team. They are not off to a good start. But that doesn't mean that they won't for the rest of the season.

I get it Sundays game was HORRIBLE. It's ok to be ticked off about it. I was very upset by what I saw. It's ok to say that Todd Haley did a horrible job last week as a head coach. The fact is he did. But it's not BS to see how a team rebounds from a horrible start. Like someone stated in anther thread the pats started one of there superbowl years by getting there butts kicked bu the Bills. I think there were proabley a number of there fans that hit the panic button. But when given time there season turned out to be ok. Ours can to. But all this talk about getting rid of Haley and Pioli is jumping the gun. They have completed two seasons in KC. They took over a 2-14 football team. They have one AFC west title under there belts. I don't think you can call that a horrible job. Make all the excuses you want about the weak schedule but the rest of the AFC west played the weak NFC west as well. The Chiefs did it better then them. They did it the best of any team in the AFC west. Something they were not even close to doing in 08 or 09. It's not time to give up on them. And you do know that if we do get rid of Pioli and haley and start all over again we will have to start all over yet again. Is that really what you want? I will still take my chances with Pioli and Haley then do that. Now if the rest of the season goes the way week 1 did then I will consider changeing my mind. But we are jumping the gun declareing the sky is falling.

    END RANT

And we dont play the seahawks, niners, browns etc.. again. We are actually going to find out what we have as a team this year through a legit schedule.

If and that is a Big IF we go 3-13 4-12 something like that then yes I do think we will need to see some change and will be really upset if they don't. There will be no excuses from me if this team is that bad again. If thats just a change in head coach or a change in how we go about building the team I will want to and expect to see some changes made if we are that bad.

EVERY team that doesn't win the Super Bowl has to make changes.

So going undefeated throughout the season to lose the Super Bowl isn't equaling disappointing than a team going 3-13? Sure as hell is to me.

The ultimate goal each season is to win the Super Bowl. If you don't, no matter how you look at it, it's a disappointing season. I am a fan of the Chiefs since I knew what football was BUT I am also a fan of the game of football itself. Of course I want to see the Chiefs win it all but in the end I just want to see great games throughout the year.
