Oh, by the way, why has Matt Cassel been injuring our best players on both sides of the ball?

What a d***! And to do it with cracked ribs?
Can't blame Cassel for all his troubles. After all, he is working with his 4th offensive coordinator in as many years. A more stable environment would have done Matt some good.
    SHUT IT

No. I thought it was a terribly idea to make the trade for him.

But, after he proved me wrong last season, I am not going to blame him for the worst defense I have ever watched, nor for injuries to Berry, Charles, himself, Moeaki, and now Hali.

Nor am I foolish enough to blame him for his receivers batting passes to defenders.

I simply realize what he has been taught for the past two years, and that circumstances have forced him into a situation of leading a type of offense that none of them has practiced.

I just realize that a defense allowing a TD at every opportunity is not generally the fault of a QB.

I actually saw that it was not Cassel who injured Berry, nor Charles.

I actually see things beyond the one-player sight of the average fan.

Cassel is not this team's solution nor its problem. He is a perfectly average, efficient QB. He is smart enough to grasp complex passing scemes, but not athletic or strong enough to win games on his arm. If he had a real OL or a real 2WR, he'd be doing much better. Without Bowe or Charles, he'd be doing much worse. That's who he is.

This too. Of course, Haley's driving off Gailey and Weis puts the blame for this pretty squarely on him.

3 blatant drops, and bowe dropped 2 easy ones. If everyone is calling for cassel's head then mr dwayne bowe must be called out to. in excusable both of his drops that I saw.

    Efficient? Efficient??
I haven't seen an efficient Matt Cassel since Charlie Weiss left.

    Nonsense.

He did everything that you insist he can't in 2008.

It's like watching a guy run and trying to call him a paraplegic.

He is unequipped to run a pass-happy offense because he has been coached and trained to run a conservative offense for the past couple of years.

Allowing 89 points in two games changes your offense dramatically.

Unless your Peyton Manning, it's hard to be efficient if your HC want to throw the ball instead of run it. It's also hard if you have the worst OL in the NFL, which I very much believe we do.

So, by calling people average fans, you are calling yourself a superior fan? Look, we all love the Chiefs. We have that in common. On the field, Cassel is the Captain, the boss. The buck, on the field, stops with him. No one is blind to the fact that the dam has so many holes, you dont know where to start the blame...but, Cassel is lacking, that we can stay on the opposite end of agreement.
