Flowers Named AFC Defensive Player of The Week

Brandon Flowers' performance last week against the Raiders landed him the recognition of the AFC Defensive Player of the week!

I was just talking yesterday about how I hope Flowers will start to gain some recognition, and hopefully land a Pro Bowl Spot. Keep up the good work!

That's great stuff! My only other choice above him may have been Derrick Johnson. Too many more of these awards!

Good for him. I kind of thought Urlacher would get it again because Chicago has a much bigger fan base thatn KC, but he's won the award enough times and Flowers definitely deserves it.

Why would an NFC defensive player get the AFC player of the week award?
