I didn't watch 60 minutes all that much, but when I did, Andy Rooney was usually the best part of the show. He's fortunate. He lived a long life and kept doing what he loved right up to the very end. Andy Rooney was to TV what Paul Harvey was to radio.

    I miss him already.

    he'll be missed.

he was pretty much a liberal way back when. started his career during WW2 which he didn't think was necessary until he saw the concentration camps. a new Rooney emerged

As a young writer and Journalism student, Andy Rooney was brilliant. May he Rest in Peace.

No he passed away on Feb 28, 2009. he was pretty much retired for a few years before that though and his son would do most of his newscasts and "The Rest of the Story."

And NOW you know ... the REST of the story.

    Paul Harvey ... good day!
