Dude, the next time your find yourself in a situation in the fourth quarter, fourth down with four yards to go...GO FOR IT.
It sends a message to the offense..."You guys can get it done. Get after 'em."
It sends a message to the defense..."I don't care if the offense gets it or not, because I know you guys can stop them anyway."
It sends a message to the fans..."Stick around. This show ain't over yet. And we need you."
And if they don't make it, what difference does it make at that point anyway? The previous three quarters sucked, what's one more ?!? At least you can say you tried.
And if you actually consider this advice, please don't pull a Herm E. and try this is the first quarter...Just the fourth. GO CHIEFS.

And as long as Mr Haley is reading
WHEN A OFFENSE CAN'T THROW THE BALL STACK THE FREAKING BOX AND PLAY TO STOP THE RUN.
Just a thought
If Haley is reading.........
Stop handing the ball to Thomas Jones.

I thought we were stacking the box on most plays. Except on 3rd and long, our safety was only playing about 10 yards off the ball before the snap. Most NFL safeties play closer to 15 yards against "normal" offenses.
On the same note, that may be what contributed to the notorious 2nd and final completed pass ...
