What has to happen for us to go to the playoffs? If we win our next two is that enough? Thanks

It's a long shot but it can happen. It wouldn't be the first time the Chiefs made the playoffs with some crazy scenarios having to happen.

I know, if SD loses once and we win out, we own the tie-breaker and would go to the playoffs. It would be sweet to boot SD and Crybaby Rivers out for a second year.

I hope it happens And I would really like to see us get a shot at revenge against the Ravens. I think we owe them a pounding.

It's honestly crazy to think if Denver loses to the Bills this weekend. The Chiefs control their playoff fate and...
    Get a home game at 8 - 8

Yea I remember waiting for the Bengals to lose that day.

On [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Years_Eve"]New Year's Eve - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] 2006, the Chiefs closed out the regular season when they played the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacksonville_Jaguars"]Jacksonville Jaguars - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]. The team looked to restart their "December home game winning streak" during the cold, wintry weather. The game was broadcast on CBS at noon Kansas City time.
The game began with Kansas City under enormous doubt to reach the playoffs. Kansas City would slide into the tournament with losses to Jacksonville, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennessee_Titans"]Tennessee Titans - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincinnati_Bengals"]Cincinnati Bengals - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_Broncos"]Denver Broncos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]. The team started the day with the 10th seed in the AFC playoffs, but ended 2006 with a truly happy new year. The Chiefs paid tribute to Hunt with a moment of silence before the game and the video boards played tributes before and during the game.[53][54]
Quarterback Trent Green was hit hard from [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clint_Ingram[/ame], resulting in a slightly sprained ankle.[53] He sat out the next few drives as back-up quarterback [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damon_Huard"]Damon Huard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] returned to the field with the Kansas City offense to enormous applause.[55] Huard threw a deep pass to Eddie Kennison (who miraculously held on to the ball after juggling it) and gained 40-yards. Huard handed off to Larry Johnson, who ran in for this third touchdown of the game from 12-yards out. The Chiefs were leading 35–17. By the end of the third quarter, Chiefs starting quarterback Trent Green was back in the game and threw an interception—a play that was met with jeers for Green and chants for Damon Huard to return.
Within the final five minutes, all of which Kansas City held possession, various penalties were issued against the Chiefs and Jaguars. The most notable of which came against Jacksonville's defensive tackle [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Henderson_%28defensive_tackle%29"]John Henderson (defensive tackle) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] and Kansas City's guard [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Waters"]Brian Waters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame], both of which were flagged for unnecessary roughness. Both Henderson and Waters began to brawl against each other. Kansas City ran out the clock throughout the final two minutes and hung on for their ninth win of the season.
The Chiefs, needing four teams to lose in order to gain the final seed in the playoffs, had their wish come true. Kansas City clinched the final playoff berth with Denver's loss to San Francisco and fulfilled an almost impossible playoff scenario.[1][56] For the first time since [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Kansas_City_Chiefs_season"]2003 Kansas City Chiefs season - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame], the Chiefs were heading back to the playoffs to face the team they lost to, the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indianapolis_Colts"]Indianapolis Colts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame].[54]
Kansas City's Larry Johnson set the single-season record for carries.[53] Johnson's 416 attempts passed [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamal_Anderson"]Jamal Anderson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]'s ([ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta_Falcons"]Atlanta Falcons - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]) [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_NFL_season"]1998 NFL season - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] record of 410 carries. Johnson finished the game with 138 yards on 33 carries with three touchdowns.

yep, a 4-2 division record will win it for us. Provided that Donks lose both remaing games an SD loses one of two remaining.

    1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
    2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
    3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
    4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
    5. Strength of victory.
    6. Strength of schedule.
    7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
    8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
    9. Best net points in common games.
    10. Best net points in all games.
    11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
    12. Coin toss
On #1 we would have split with Donks and SD and swept the Faiders. We win our next two div. games we end up with a 4-2 div. record the Donks 3-3 Faiders 3-3 or 2-4 SD can only finish 3-3
