    Default Dontrari Poe NT Memphis

There are approximately 400,000 men and women student-athletes that participate in sanctioned athletics each year. He was rated the 5th strongest athlete in college.

Poe has 87 Tackles, 2 Forced Fumbles, and 5 Sacks in 3 years. Protypyical 3-4 nose tackle in the NFL at 6'5 350lbs. Before I jump the gun I want to see his combine but I have him on my 2012 NFL Mock draft going no later than the 45th selection. If he has a 5.10 or faster 40 yard time he will go in the first round. I have him graded out above Brandon Thompson already. This would change the game for Kansas City. I still think a Right Tackle is the most important pick in the first round but this guy is worth a trade up if he falls to the second round.

At 6'-5", 350 lbs., Poe seems to project better at 3-4 defensive end than 3-4 nose tackle...there are outliers from the past (Ted Washington played in both the 4-3 and 3-4 IIRC), but I think for the most part nose tackles tend to be shorter because leverage is the name of the game for the nose tackle. But he is an intriguing prospect.

Ted Washington was considered a a prototypical 3-4 NT at 6"5 365 pounds. You ever heard of Jamal Williams pro-bowl NT he's 6"3 348. If we have an opportunity to get Poe after addressing our RT problem I would do it in a heart beat this guy is a stud can take on two men easily.
