it looks like it's going to be awful close to breaking a realism and getting a bit "hollywood", which may be pretty disappointing. def interested in a review

Hopefully I will be able to see it this weekend. I've seen the HBO "Tuskegee Airmen" film, which is good in it's own right...But really looking forward to seeing their story put with really accurately done aircraft. The trailer with the Me-262's rolling out of formation looks really good!!

if Hitler had mass produced the 262 that war probably would have turned in his favor. it was at least a 100 MPH faster than the P51

    who said anything about Hollywood???

Hollywood Refuses to Back Red Tails Saying “We’ll never make our money back on an all BLACK action movie” !

George Lucas called in to the Tom Joyner Morning Show this a.m. to talk about his latest movie, Red Tails. Despite Lucas’s track record as a filmmaker (Star Wars), most studios flat out turned him down, which forced him to finance the bulk of the movie himself (over $50 million). The studios refused backing the project saying they didnt know how to promote an all black action film, and they would never make their money ($35 million) back investing in an all black action flick.

Lucas then teamed up with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey to have this epic film released. So support this movie and the effort and show Hollywood how very wrong they are.

i thought this was a story of heroic fighter pilots in WWII, not a "black" film.

so do I. but Hollywood does not. the first flick in 95 was an HBO production. which I think is really a dream works production.
