Our O-line back when we had Roaf and Shields.

    The best O-line ever!

Just following instructions. I speciffically had to exclude him, because of bias. Roaf and Shields, however, are head and shoulders above their competition.

I could have put him there, just had little trouble finding deserving replacements and...as a matter of fact....

When I designed my defense, I went with the 3-4 defense, so that I could get DT in there, then forgot that I had done that, when I got to my LBs. Fact is that he would be perfest in a 3-4.

I'll take a different approach and fill out my 53 man roster (starters in bold)...some of my bench players are the next best guy and some are selected for flexibility (i.e. Bruce Matthews could play anywhere on the O-line), and yet others were added to the bench for their value on special teams.

    Owner- Eddie D!!!!
    Head Coach-- Paul Brown
    Off Coordinator--Bill Walsh
    Def Coordinator--Bill Cowher
    ST Coach--Buddy Ryan

QB - Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, Otto Graham
RB- Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers
FB - Darryl Johnston, Bronko Nagurski
WR - Jerry Rice, Steve Largent, Don Hutson, Michael Irvin, Marvin Harrison
TE - Tony Gonzalez, Kellen Winslow Sr.
T - Willie Roaf, Anthony Munoz, Jackie Slater
G - Steve Hutchinson, Johnathon Ogden, Will Shields
C - Mike Webster, Jim Otto, Bruce Matthews

    Defense (I'm going 3-4 for startering line-up)

DT - Joe Greene, Bob Lilly, Warren Sapp
DE - Reggie White, Deacon Jones, Bruce Smith, Gino Marchetti
OLB - Lawrence Taylor, Derrick Thomas, Jack Lambert, Charles Haley
ILB - Dick Butkus, Ray Lewis, Mike Singletary, Brian Urlacher
CB - Champ Bailey, Dick "Night Train" Lane, Mel Blount, Darrell Green
FS - Rod Woodson, Ed Reed
SS - Ronnie Lott, Troy Polamalu

    K - Adam Vinatieri
    P - Ray Guy
    Returner- Eric Metcalf, Deion Sanders
    Special Teams extra- Steve Tasker

The 49ers own my heart, but the Chiefs will always hold a better than neutral spot for giving my favorite player a place to leave with grace...
