Default Steve Maneri (our backup RT) promoted to TE

The Chiefs must be reading my old threads because I talked about using this guy as a blocking TE like we did with Dunn. He is a big guy 6"6 290 I'm sure he will slim down to 275 or so, either way that is a big boy, that will be able to man handle most LB's.

IMO Maneri could be a solid blocking tight end in short yardage, goal-line sets and jumbo packages. I would still like to see the Chiefs add Coby Fleener in round 2 (if he lasts that long).

Polumalu thinks the safties will have issues as well. I like the move, he played TE in college so it should be an easy transition for him.

The other conclusion that can be drawn is that there will be big changes at RT. This likely means we need at least 2 guys who can play RT.

Big changes at RT sounds good to me!
