Exclamation Peyton Hillis' Lands on Chiefstown

So it's Official .. we got Hillis for 1 year contract for 1 Million.

So we got a mix of Speed and Power ..

That raw power missed since Okoye .. hope Hillis turns into a bargain and a great RB.

I saw the Chiefs do that once. It was really cool!

This makes me pretty excited about the Hillis signing:

RB Peyton Hillis eager for new start with Chiefs

“I’ve never been healthier and never been more excited about playing football,” Hillis said in a conference call. ...

It was Daboll’s confidence in him that brought out his best, Hillis said.

“I think it was just the point he believed in me and believed what I could do. And what he does, works,” he said. “I think he’s proved out wherever he’s been. I’m very excited about this and very excited about being a Chief.” ...

I saw this as an opportunity to be reunited with coach Daboll and with (general manager) Scott Pioli and coach Crennel because they’re great people.”
I read it on the internet so it must be true.

LOL!!!! Well...he sure talks the talk.

I'm not fond of the 1 year deal, but if he really said that stuff and MEANT it, then I think we got the best end of this deal. He gets a year to prove he's worth some real money and if he does then perhaps next year he won't develop an $85,000,000.00 hat size.

Apparently, the contract isn't as much as was initially reported.

It is 2.6 million. And if he doesn't play in one game, it costs him 25,000.
