    Default Brandon Carr...Thoughts?

No posts on Brandon Carr? With all the money we have under the cap, I think we should have signed him myself. Now the Cowboys have a 5th year player for years to come. Doesn't make sense to me. Thoughts?

I'm with you kinda, I think with 2 starting corners he was expendable but I'm sad he left. I think Flowers and Routt will be a good combo for us.

I think Dallas overpaid for him. He's good but I don't think he is 10 million per a year good. He is a loss but I don't think that he is a BIG TIME Loss. Flowers was number 1 and we still have him.

Me too. He is good but Routt is a better value. The salary cap is about $120 million. If we give everyone $10 million per year, we only have enough money for 10 players and we need to pay 55.

If it was going to take #1 corner money to get him to stay, I'm not surprised to see him go. I think he definitely fit better as a #2 corner so I hope he doesn't get exposed in Dallas. He's a good young player but JJ really overpaid to bring him in.

Not even close. Routt is in the $6 million/year range. Keeping them both would have cost $16 million per year. Now we have $4 million per year to spend on another position of need (O-line?).

The following reflects, passionately, my feelings about Brandon Carr and Kyle Orton:

I agree. We really should have tried harder to keep him.
The upside is that he tweeted that he thanks Kansas CIty for time he had there and KC will always have a place in his heart.

Can't hate on Carr if they threw that much money at him. He did well for us and was a great teammate, good luck to him.
