For those interested, NFL network is reporting Burfict going to the Bengals, and will NOT be a Chief. Somehow that sounds appropriate that he would go to the Bengals.

Burfict is far less than perfect.

At this point, his only hope is to be a walk-on UFA somewhere and try to beat out somebody for a spot on the practice squad. I don't even know who would give him that opportunity--maybe the Bengals?

The article doesn't say whether he failed for illegal drugs, like marijuana, or performance enhancing drugs. I would guess the former.
