Rumor: Alex Tanney Tryout

I read that the Bills were impressed by the NCAA all time passing TD and yardage leader but didn't have room after the Vince Young signing.

Rumor has it he is coming in for a tryout, think he has what it takes to make the squad?

If he can read a defense anywhere near as accurate as he throws he could be viable.

All reports from bills camp said he adjusted to the speed of the next level very quickly and outperformed Corp.

If by reports we have Quinn throwing his crossing routes into the dirt let's see what he's got. I was thinking it was Pioli that said taking four qbs to camp was always a good thing.

Id love to bring him in and see how he does. Maybe replace Quin for the 3rd string spot and if he really has what it takes he can be the backup to Cassel.

Of course, it a whole lot tougher to make accurate throws like that when you have D-lineman chasing you, but he surely looks worth giving a tryout.

And because sometimes people get overlooked. Kinda like how Brady was overlooked til the 6th which is where most draft picks don't even make the team. NO! I'm not comparing him to Brady before anyone takes off with that.
