Rep Points...

As the board has grown and more people are achieving "Full Quiver Status" with the rep arrows might I suggest changing the scale to reflect the inflation...

My suggested scale would be

1st arrow=0-99 pts
2nd arrow=100-250 pts
3rd arrow=250-499 pts
4th arrow=500-749 pts
5th arrow=750-999 pts
6th arrow=1000-1499 pts
7th arrow=1500-2499 pts
8th arrow=2500-4999 pts
9th arrow=5000-9999 pts
10th arrow=10000-24999 pts
11th and final arrow= 25000+pts

When/if someone generates enough posts/points to achieve full quiver status it will be earned. Also as I understand it the more "points" we have when we bestow rep the more the receiver gets...so with more of us having lots of points this scale should be achievable yet, be an accomplishment.

Oh and for Smed I suggest

1st red box= -1 thru -49
2nd red box=-50 thru -99
3rd red box= -100 thru -499
4th red box= -500 thru -999 (and a 2 week suspension)
5th red box= -1000 or more (just ban anyone getting to this level)

I have to say I did get the negative rep from Chiefster, I deserved it, and instead of retaliating I went and worked on getting positive rep back, Chiefster said he had a bad day and while I may slightly agree, I feel I had a bad day also and the negative rep was fully earned.

Ohhh and yes I knew I got the negative and knew who it was from and for me I felt especially since it was from someone I respected I needed to do something to earn positive rep.

I feel that if someone does enough to get a lot of negative rep with no positive then banning might be a good option. I am not sure how much negative would call for that but at a certain point the person isn't going to do anything positive. Even with the bad start that Smed has had, I do not feel at this point though that anyone is to the point of banning. Would talk someone really nasty.

Another point though is if there is a ban is it from ip address, user name, or e-mail address. Regardless a person can get around that and get back on the board. If we banned someone it could get nasty in here if they wanted retaliation. Just a thought.

All 3 and also IP ranges. But we have good mods, so I've never needed it.

You're a member in very good standing; I'm glad we were able to set aside our differences, concentrate on what we have in common and put all the bad stuff behind us - water under the bridge.

The vote of confidence is much appreciated; I think I speak for the other mods when I say that the admin has done a good job of listening to suggestions and concerns not only from the other mods and I as well as the regular members.
