Aug 16 (Reuters) - San Diego Chargers defensive tackleGarrett Brown was suspended on Thursday for the first four gamesof the 2012 regular season for violating the National FootballLeague's (NFL) policy on performance enhancing substances. The 23-year-old Brown, who signed with the Chargers in Mayand has never appeared in an NFL game, can participate in all ofhis team's preseason practices and games, the league said in astatement.
