Replacement Officials..UGH

I watched many of the games via NFL Game Rewind & they missed or botched more than a few calls ( including the non-call on that illegal chop-block on Julio Jones' 2nd TD in the KC game ).

It reminded me of a story that I remember regarding Chiefs TE Fred Arbanas who played with the team from 1961-1970.

Arbanas had a glass eye as he was the victim of being slugged in the eye by a mugger & lost his eye as a result & he played for several seasons with just one working eye and a glass eye.

During one of the Chiefs games, the glass eye popped out his eye socket and onto the field & one of the games officials asked Arbanas "Hey Freddie, what'll happen if you lose the other eye?"

Arbanas responded: "I'll become an official !!"

God yea its horrible. They annoy me so much but at the same time I feel sorry for them.
