I have to nominate LB Derrick Johnson for our best defensive player at this point in the season. He's third on the team in tackles with one INT and one forced fumble. You may remember that forced fumble as the one against the San Diego Chargers that rookie nickel back Tyron Brackenridge took back for a touchdown. A former first round pick in 2005, Johnson is becoming a force before Chiefs fans eyes.
This is from a quote by some a$$hat from another Chiefs fan website actually talking to someone from a Bengals website about the game today.
Wasn't it Jared Allen who forced the fumble on Rivers that led to the Brackenridge TD in SD?

Looks like I was probably wrong. Is this the play?

I nominate Allen anyway.
Official thread killer I have heard.
Yeah, it was Derrick Johnson that forced the fumble. I think Johnson has been solid on defense this year. Three sacks, a forced fumble, a pick. What more could you ask for? Solid against the run as well. Not to take anything away from Allen of course. Almost 3 sacks today, 6 sacks overall, which leads the team, it's hard to say who's the mvp, so I'll just go with the whole defense!
