    Ahhhh, the hypocrisy of MatthewsChiefs!
But wait wasn't preseason games good enough to judge the rookie you don't like?Didn't you already say Fisher was a wasted pick? But it's not fair to judge the guy you wanted? you want to talk about hypocrisy? Really?

And it's not "making excuses" the Piss poor coaching I have talked about is FACT. Again name me someone who played well under those coaches I've been waiting for you to answer that time and time again. YES Smith takes some blame for his time with the niners but he was not alone in that. And you IGNORE the last couple of seasons when Smith played well and only want to talk about the time when he had the horrible coaches.

You have set a clear double standards you hold the guys you don't like to perfection standards where the guys you do like you're willing to give a break to. You seem to me to be a smart guy. But sometimes you have to let you're personal opinions go and be fair that's all I ask. What we've seen from This offense has been nothing to jump and down about lets face facts. But on the other hand it's nothing to say see the season is over we are doomed to fail like you make it out to be. This team has gone head to head this preseason with 3 good teams. I don't know if there is any other team out there with a preseason like ours they are facing pretty good competition. They have held there own against them. That's reason to say ok maybe this won't be so bad. Not to say it's great but maybe just maybe there's reason to have some hope. No one is asking you to jump up and down and say see how great Alex Smith is. If you look in this game thread I said that Smith made a poor throw. I will say it when he does something bad. But all you do is point at the bad. You then make excuses for the good. You already started with game 1 of the real season. All anyone ask on here is a fair outlook. That's something you have yet to show. Instead it's perfection for the guys you don't like and a much lower standard for those who you do. I show the Geno things to show this double standard he's a rookie it's far to early to judge him. Just like Fisher is a rookie it's far to early to judge him like any other rookie. If our guys are so bad why do you hold them to the perfection standard. Even when Smith took us down the field for a td while I said good start keep it up (far from saying see i told you Smith would work) you went on and on about Dink and dunk. Learn to give credit where credit is due instead of constantly pointing out the negative and making excuses for the good.

I have been by far the nicest to you on this site. I have defended you before when some called you a troll. Help me out here so I don't look like a idiot more then I often make myself out to be. Tell us something you like about what they have done. Say SOMETHING ANYTHING positive about the offense without taking a dig at the QB. There's has to be something you like. All we here from you is negative help us all out make 1 positive post with no digs at the QB

Logic isn't applied here is it?
You don't apply logic to much of anything.
It is illogical to go on and on about something that did not happen,
It is illogical to come on a CHIEFS forum and call us homers. Duh.
Some here have been rooting for the Chiefs before you were swimming in your dads sac.
Quit your *****ing, who the hell here do you think wants to hear it.

"Some" called him a troll? No, no... let's not get this twisted... I called him a troll... and Myman just makes my case more and more evident everytime the guy posts on here. When is enough, enough? EVERY THREAD the guy posts on becomes a hate fest on Alex Smith, Eric Fisher, or Sean Smith. I've lost my interest in posting on this site because of him. He's got 800 posts of Chiefs-hating rhetoric that the mods allow to continue to ruin this site for so many.

The guy is clearly not a fan of this team and continues to spew hateful pessimism about the team, yet the mods do nothing. The forums are dying. Each thread gets killed by Alex Smith bashing by Myman. Traffic is down, active members are down, and "Hall of Famers" who have been here for years are leaving the site in droves. I know they are still actively talking about the Chiefs online because I still see them on other sites.

It's time for Coach and the mods to make a decision. Either watch the site die or take actions to improve the user experience. Myman, (whether he is a fan or not is beside the point) makes the vast majority of the members on this site miserable with his hateful rhetoric and people across the web have been removed from forums for doing much less.

    It's time.

Back on topic, if last night was any indicator, then it's looking like the move to unload Baldwin and elevate Avery to the starting WR opposite Bowe was clearly the right move. At least Avery was getting open and catching some passes & he gets out of his breaks a lot quicker than Baldwin ever could and get some sort of separation from defenders. I hope Avery can continue to step to the fore and contribute, same for Hemingway, as well.

Getting both WRs the ball looked to be the focus of the game on offense. Maybe that's why we didn't see them do much in the running game. But it was good to see them get involved. Part of me still wishes they would have ran 1 series after the half just to get used to having the break. But at the end of the half Bowe and Smith seemed to be getting on the same page. That was good at least. But without the running game this team would be in trouble to say the least. I just hope the reason we didn't see anything out of the runners was just that the focus was on the passing and Wrs

The problem that I saw with the running game was continuing to try running between that Tackles and up the gut against the 1's of Pittsburgh's defense & their run defense is one of the best at stopping such plays. They pursue very well on wide running plays as well. Seldom do you see Pitt's Defense get gashed by the opposing teams running game, so it didn't surprise me that they held the Chiefs running game in check. Besides, we all know that under Andy Reid it's going to be a pass-first Offense.

BTW, did you notice that in the final moments of the 1st half that Alex Smith bore very close resemblance to another QB that I had mentioned in the NO gameday thread ---- that's right, Rich Gannon.

It was the backside purauit that was killing our run game I believe. But then again if there were lanes for the rb to hit the back side would have had a chance to stop them. Polamalu just timed it perfectly and dont blame that on oline. Maybe alex should have gave them a hard count but dont know what the pkay clock was plus whats to say we wouldnt have jumped. It shoukd have been a qb sneak to get inches anyways so I chaulk that up as bad play call.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!
I come here to have fun and talk about the Chiefs. A team I have loved from afar since the '60s. I called him a troll a long time ago and put him on "ignore". I WAS WRONG. He is not an oxygen stealer or a troll....HE IS WORSE THAN THAT!
I work too damned hard for what fun I have and he is stealing my fun. The BAN HAMMER is LONG OVERDUE!!!

Pitt's D line is no joke. But after Alex's scramble it really caused them to back off, and resort to cheap hits. The one thing that I saw that Pittsburg seemed to be able to do consistently was come down with big catches to extend their drives. At times it seemed like they were catching everything thrown their way.
