I can not believe 1/5 of the roster is rookies that seems like a lot to me.
Bray, Tyler QB
Catapano, Mike LB
Commings, Sanders DB
Davis, Knile RB
Fisher, Eric T
Johnson, Nico LB
Kelce, Travis TE
Kush, Eric OL
Martin, Josh LB/DE
McDougald, Bradley S

This doesn't surprise me at all. Remember this was a 2-14 team last year & they have to try and develop young ball players.
Besides, that group you got listed there looks way better than any rookie class we ever saw under Pioli.

I think the surprising/interesting thing is how many UDFA made the team.
Time will tell, but so far from what I've seen, Dorsey & Reid are getting their pieces in place. At least there's a lot more logic to it than the way Pioli did it.
What about zombo
Looks like zombo and Hemingway made 53 nice
Who knows how it will turn out. I do like that they had a strategy, and worked very hard as a coaching "team" to get where they are. That last class of bozo's were never on the same page, and worried about everything but working together on a strategy for this team. They will build some great teams over the next 4 - 5 years, I truly believe that.
It seems to me that Dorsey and Reid are pursuing a dual strategy. On the one hand they have been aggressive in free agency looking for people that can help now. But at the same time, they seem to be working hard to bring in rookie athletes that over the course of 2-4 years could become real roll players. It seems to me they are trying to move quickly to get us out of last year's mess while also trying to stock up on players that could make us a contender for years to come. I like it!
