well this one's over. a great start. congrads to Reid and his staff. we'll know what we have after the 3rd or 4th game

YUP! A win is a win. And we have this one. It wasn't hugely impressive, but as I have been saying all through pre-season I see reason for cautious optimism.

At least the Offense didn't commit turnovers or a lot of holding or false start penalties, so that is a good start. And Eric Fisher did show better than Joeckel did, so at least for this game, it looks like the Chiefs picked the right guy.

Great job by the Defense & let's hope they keep it up throughout the season & the Offense eventually catches up.

Good start for the new regime to get an opening-day road win.

You obviously haven't been watching the game, then. At the end of the 1st half, he ran from the 25 BACKWARD to the 50 and got sacked. The only reason he got a chance to throw a TD is because the refs bailed him out on a BS roughing call on the Bucs' secondary. He pats the ball before he throws, which allowed him to get stripped deep in his on territory which allowed the Bucs to score on the next play. He got flustered and floated a ball above his RB's head for a pick and then blamed his RB while yelling at him on the field.... ALL IN THE FIRST HALF.

I have been watching. He's a rookie in his first start with no weapons on offense and no running game and they're up. He's made a lot of nice throws.

A good start, but remember where they came from in 2012 & nobody should be getting fatheaded about anything. There's still 15 games left & it's a long season. There's hope, but cautious optimism IS the right perspective.
